The Arts Centre programmes for the Hillbrow community children to learn African visual art Aesthetic, Multi-lingual literacy in our Pan African reading lounge. Diverse dance formations from the continent, they discover the treasures of the rich indigenous instruments and how to play them. They are encouraged to use these teachings in their own interpretation of African Arts.
Windybrow Arts centre collaborates with a number of formations all eager to contribute positively to the young minds.
The Windybrow offers holiday programmes which give the young artists the opportunity to create works towards a showcase.
The Market Young Artists have had a number of performances, they were proud to have shared the stage with Femi Koya, Oliver Mtukudzi and the Muffins at the 2018 Africa Month Festival.
